Answer these questions. Does your idle surge? Does your engine idle too high? Does your engine idle too low? Does your idle keep going up and down? Well if you answered yes to any of them then you might need to know something....How to set your base idle. Note: If you do experience any of the above you will want to try cleaning both your idle motor, and throttle body and you'll want to set your TPS voltage. |

Ten years ago, the concept of washing and waxing your car was just that, you washed it, and then waxed it. Even ten years ago though, this usually didn’t provide optimum results. So twice a year or so we might get a workout with a rubbing compound to get rid of swirl marks or oxidation, and a few layers of paint as well. |

Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. So what, exactly, are you getting when you plunk down $20.00 for a cheap set of wires? You’re getting a headache, that’s what. Actually what you’re getting is a very cheap set of carbon string wires that probably produce OHMS resistance near the 10,000 mark. What this means to you is that you’re not only taking away from the peak performance of your automobile, you’re also ensuring a wire replacement the next time you change out your spark plugs. |

Platinum, Gold, Splitfire, Bosch Platinum, etc. Do these plugs really offer any performance gains over traditional copper designs? The answer to that is not necessarily as cut and dry as it might seem. The truth is, these plugs do not offer any outright performance gains over traditional copper spark plugs. In this article, we’ll talk about what these plugs will and won’t do for you, then we’ll cover some basics in plug wires and hopefully when I’m done we’ll both be a little more educated. |

For any Mustang enthusiast, with HP generating mods, inspection time might make you a little nervous. Of course, to be friendly with the environment should be one of the goals when creating a Street Legal car. I've put together some check points, based on my experience, before taking your car to inspection. Please use this as a guideline rather than a sure bet stuff. This guide may not be useful if the inspection is done on a dyno (many states are starting to do this.) |

Not just for the looks, but Autometer Gauges are really quality items. I have the 2 1/16" Phantom Series, Boost/Vacuum, Water Temp., and Electrical Fuel Pressure. |

Header selection is matter of preference, since most major manufactures' headers seem to perform quite well. |
